What this service covers
In a design-and-build appointment we lead the consultant team, so constructability is tested against cost and programme while the design is still on paper. Decisions that would normally surface as a variation on site get resolved in the design stage instead.
You receive a single lump-sum commitment covering design development, authority submissions and construction. That removes the gap between the drawing set you approved and the building you pay for.
